My first exposure to computer science was through robotics. During the COVID-19, I, alongside some friends was inspired to build a cubing robot to put into practice our programming skills. Through this project, I learned to love the process of building, and the skills that came with it helped me throughout my programming journey, such as my high school robotics team.

2022-2025
Competitive Programming and Math dominated my high school years, with my hard work culminating in my qualification for the highest level of the United States of America Computing Olympiad (Platinum) and scoring 55/75 on the 2025 Canadian Computing Competition. These experiences sharpened my problem solving skills and changed my approach to learning, skills that remain critical in everything I do.

AI Research started as a way to vent my frustrations with the state of competitive prorgramming as a result of AI. But soon, it became more than that. With funding from University of Toronto Schools, I built an AI workflow to study how gender personas affect LLM’s reasoning and chain of thought. Helped by Emily Napier, Rachel Ma, and advised by Alan Kraguljac, I’m working toward publishing these findings.
